MUSO SATURDAYS
Twosome Place Thursdays
So my time at Melbourne Coffee House were nice... memorable... but I needed a change. After trying a few small coffee shops in the area, I settled down into Twosome Place. It's large (with lots of power outlets), well lit, has a good selection of coffees, other drinks, and desserts. The only draw back... a species called "teenagers". This species is loud, often obnoxious, and spread around the room like a healthy fungus. I found that a strategic nose picking when they are about to sit close by drives them away with squeals of disgust. Ah, the charms of not caring what others think of you...
BUT... as nice as Twosome Place is, it is not my writing sanctuary. The place that cleanses my soul, the place where I bleed words, where I hemorrhage pages of text in only about two (2) hours every Saturday (almost every Saturday, depending on other commitments).
What place is this, you ask...
MUSO
Written - 무소 - in Korean.
(see pictures above)
Tucked away from main road, yet conveniently close to home, MUSO is perfect for writing. Each room in this old converted wood flooring home is now a small private / semi-private room for guests.
I personally like the foyer - the area just inside what used to be the front door, now barricaded and blocked off with a table that's the perfect size and height for writing/typing. PLUS... it's conveniently located close to the barista/cash register so getting refills takes little to no time at all!
The exterior is amazing, the interior is calm and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful...
I doubt I'll be changing locations again any time soon.
I hope I don't see you there... it's mine! All mine! This page was for bragging purposes ONLY! STAY AWAY!
