A writing day...

At the coffee shop being creative

Today I unexpectantly stumbled across some free time to get out of the apartment and stop by one of my favorite writing spots. When I arrived, the cafe was nearly empty... now as I take a break from writing lies, (I write the truth here in my blog) the place is PACKED. Lots of cute kids running around, lots of conversations, and best of all... lots of people to watch and generate story ideas from. If they only knew I was stealing moments from them and crafting my new found jewels into tales of various sorts.

The couple trying to argue quietly and inconspicuously are discussing how to dispose of their grumpy neighbor's body... the toddler shaking everyone's hand was an orphan until she was "acquired" by North Korean spies and fitted with a latex glove coated in a deadly but slow acting substance capable of poisoning someone with the slightest of skin contact. And then we have the "others"... the group of space traveling entities who are masters of disguise that were sent here to apprehend me and return me to my home planet. There are two of them watching me... just across the way... they don't know that I know... I need to be ready when they come for me (so I need to hurry and finish my cheese cake).
